The Grav session required for the operation of the website expires after no more than 30 minutes of inactivity. The webshop stores the contents of the cart in the browser's local storage (localStorage); it is deleted after a successful order and can also be removed at any time by clearing the browser's site data.
The cookie preference is also stored locally. This is necessary so the website can remember whether the visitor allowed or declined optional analytics. The choice can be changed at any time using the Cookie settings button in the footer.
The website uses a self-hosted Umami Analytics installation. Analytics starts only after the visitor presses Accept; if declined, the tracking code is not loaded. Umami does not use analytics cookies, does not track visitors across websites, and does not send the data to an advertising platform.
Analytics may process the title and URL of the page visited, referring page, timestamp, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, approximate country/region/city, and webshop events that are not intended to identify a person. Such events include opening a product, adding it to the cart, beginning checkout, downloading a product, or completing a purchase. Names, email addresses, order IDs, PayPal IDs, and coupon codes are not sent to analytics.
The system technically uses the IP address while processing the request and determining an approximate geographical location, but does not store the raw IP address in the analytics database. The purpose is to understand website use in aggregate and improve the website; the legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Analytics data is stored on Moth Production's own server. Individual event and session data is retained for no more than 13 months; any aggregates retained afterwards cannot be used to single out a visitor.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time using the Cookie settings button in the footer. The analytics tracker stops after withdrawal; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Privacy questions can be sent to support@mothproduction.hu.
