This document serves as a draft outline of Moth Production's data handling practices. Please complete it with your own processes, legal bases, and retention period details.

Card and PayPal login details are handled directly by PayPal; Moth Production does not have access to them.
Data submitted through the contact form is used to answer the message, prepare a quote, and maintain the communication initiated by the person. The legal basis is consent or taking steps at the person's request before entering into a contract.
Order data is used to fulfil the purchase, provide the licence and download access, offer support, and send necessary security, bug-fix, or compatibility notices concerning a purchased product. These messages may not promote unrelated products. The legal basis is performance of the contract, compliance with legal obligations, or the legitimate interest in ensuring secure and proper use of the product.
We send emails about new products, offers, discounts, and other promotions only to people who have expressly consented by selecting the separate optional checkbox at checkout. Marketing consent is not required to complete a purchase or claim a free licence.
The marketing record contains the person's name and email address, the consent status, timestamp, source, and the version of the notice accepted. Its purpose is to present Moth Production products, services, and offers directly; its legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time, without giving a reason or suffering a disadvantage, by contacting support@mothproduction.hu or using the unsubscribe method identified in a marketing email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing and does not prevent service emails required to fulfil an order or provide a necessary update for a purchased product.
Contact data is retained until the request is resolved and for as long as necessary to establish or defend related claims. Order data is retained for the period required by contractual, accounting, and consumer-protection obligations. Marketing data is processed until consent is withdrawn; the withdrawal record may be retained only as needed to prevent further messages and demonstrate compliance.
You may request information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or object to processing, and may withdraw consent at any time by contacting support@mothproduction.hu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
